An Innovative Learning Week (ILW) event: In 1871, some very strange experiments were carried out with an accordion and a plank of wood. Scientists, unable to explain what they saw, announced the discovery of a 'Psychic' force. We have been arguing about psychic phenomena since, yet nobody has ever managed to explain what happened at the original experiments. We have recreated the experimental set-up, with similar apparatus and all the necessary information - can you figure out what happened?
