A new study by Stuart Ritchie, Sergio Della Sala, and Rob McIntosh casts doubt on the popular practice of using coloured overlays provided by the Irlen Institute to alleviate children's reading difficulties. The study, published in the journal Pediatrics, was reported last week by Reuters Health.
