All assessments should be submitted to the School Postgraduate Office (1st floor Dugald Stewart Building). Students are required to submit one hard copy and one electronic copy (through TurnItIn) of each assignment (unless it is specified that 2 hard copies are required) and attach a signed cover sheet to all submissions. The deadline for all submissions is 4pm on the deadline day (unless specified as 12 noon). Late submissions without an approved extension will incur penalties as described in the PPLS MSc Student Handbook.
Assignment Submission Deadlines
Assessment submission deadlines for all PG courses run within PPLS can be found below. Students should note that these dates are susceptible to change and should always check with their Course Organiser for final confirmation.
Guidance on Writing Essays
Some guidance on how to write essays can be found below. Although they appear to be specific to subject areas, the information can be crossed over to any area you are studying, the information is general and you can always contact your Course Organiser for specific guidance on what they require of an assignment.
Dissertation Submission 2011/2012
Two hard copies and one electronic copy of the dissertation must be submitted to the PPLS Postgraduate Office no later than Friday 17th August 2012 at 4.00 pm. Extensions will be granted in exceptional circumstances only.
Students must note that this deadline applies to all students across the University and should therefore ensure plenty of time is given for printing and bind their 2 hard copies.
